Your adventure begins in the town of Negombo, located close to Bandaranaike International Airport. After you exit Colombo International
airport, Our Tour guide will meet you at Arrival lobby in the airport and take you to a comfortable vehicle and drive you to Negombo which will
be your first stop for this Adventure Tour in Sri Lanka. Negombo is home to a very friendly and bustling fishing community. While there, visit
the Dutch Canal, also called the Hamilton Canal, which used to be part of the colonial spice route used by the Dutch East India Company. The
canal connects the coast with the Negombo Lagoon and can be visited on foot or by boat. It’s a great look into old colonial Sri Lanka living.

Day 3 Anuradhapura

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Anuradhapura.
Main city for Buddhist devotees which houses the sacred Bodhi tree which is believed to be the oldest living tree in the world.
Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. The city is now a world heritage site according to the UNESCO. It remained one of the most stable and durable centres of political power and urban life in South Asia. It was also a wealthy city which created a unique culture and a great civilization. The ruins consist of three classes of buildings, dagebas (stupas), monastic buildings, and royal ponds. Check in to the selected hotel.
Evening, visit Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanveli Maha Seya Stupa.
Evening time is more suitable to visit these shrines for a deeper insight into ways of Buddhism and its local practices. Offer flowers (optional)
Nestled within the historic city of Anuradhapura, the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi is not just a tree; it's a living relic with a story that spans over two millennia. This revered fig tree holds immense significance for Buddhists in Sri Lanka, believed to have a direct link to the tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
The Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba, or the Great Stupa, is a magnificent Buddhist sacred site in the ancient city of Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. Today, the Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba is the most prominent of the "Atamasthana", the 8 holy places Buddhists should visit on pilgrimage to Anuradhapura, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The stupa was constructed in a hemispherical shape, its purpose to hold the relics of the Gothama Buddha. Return to the hotel.

Day 4 Anuradhapura

After breakfast, transfer to visit Isurumuniya Temple, (famous for special carvings on stone) and the other historical places in Anuradhapura.
Isurumuniya Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple situated in Anuradhapura (the first Kingdom of Sri Lanka). Isurumuniya temple is world famous for its incredible stone carvings, such as 'Isurumuniya Lovers', the 'Man and the Horse Head' and the 'Elephant Pond'.

Day 5 Sigiriya

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Sigiriya. Check in to the selected hotel.
Late Afternoon, transfer to enjoy a Jeep safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. (Note: Depending on the date of travel the safari will
take place either in Kaudulla or Eco National parks, according to Elephant migration patterns).
The park is famous for its large elephant herds along with other wild animal sightings. This national park is one of the best places in the country
to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers. Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Wewa, the park has plenty of scrub,
forest and wetlands in its 88.9 sq km to also provide shelter for toque macaques, sambar deer, buffalo, crocodiles and leopards. Return to the
hotel.
Day 6 Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa

Early morning, transfer to climb the World Heritage site in Sigiriya. (Sigiriya Lion Rock)
A UNESCO-listed World Heritage site and 8th wonder of the world ranked by them; the Sigiriya Rock Fortress is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning. Also known as the "Lion's Rock", the city was built on top of a giant granite outcrop that rises out of a plain in a remote area in Sri Lanka. An engineering marvel. A "must-see" tourist attraction in Sri Lanka.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After that, transfer to visit the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa.
Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It comprises, besides the Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas, the monumental ruins of the fabulous garden city created by Parakramabahu I in the 12th century.

Day 7 - Kandy

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kandy. (Second largest city)
En route, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, Hindu temple & the most famous Spice Garden in Matale. The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. It's renowned for its impressive cave complex, which houses ancient statues and paintings that date back to the 1st century BC. Check in to the hotel & Relax. Evening, City tour including the Temple of the tooth & the cultural dance show in Kandy.
The Temple of the Tooth, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world, located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha, which is believed to be enshrined within the temple complex. Day 8 Colombo

a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its stunning blend of European and Asian architecture, featuring colorful buildings with ornate
balconies, colonnades, and verandas. The narrow streets are lined with restaurants, boutique shops, and galleries, creating a charming and
lively atmosphere. The fort is surrounded by a thick rampart wall and is home to several iconic landmarks, including the Dutch Reformed
Church, the Galle Lighthouse, and the National Maritime Museum. Visitors can also explore the fort's numerous bastions, which offer
panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the surrounding area
Afterwards, Boat safari in Madu ganga.
The Madu Ganga is a minor watercourse which originates near Uragasmanhandiya in the Galle District of Sri Lanka, before widening into the
Madu Ganga Lake at Balapitiya. The river then flows for a further a 4.4 km before draining into the Indian Ocean. It is located 88 km south of
Colombo and 35 km north of Galle.
