Day 1 & 2 Arrival to Sri Lanka

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Negombo area
Ayu-bowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Your adventure begins in the town of Negombo, located close to Bandaranaike International Airport. After you exit Colombo International airport, Our Tour guide will meet you at Arrival lobby in the airport and take you to a comfortable vehicle and drive you to Negombo which will be your first stop for this Adventure Tour in Sri Lanka. Negombo is home to a very friendly and bustling fishing community. While there, visit the Dutch Canal, also called the Hamilton Canal, which used to be part of the colonial spice route used by the Dutch East India Company. The canal connects the coast with the Negombo Lagoon and can be visited on foot or by boat. It's a great look into old colonial Sri Lanka living. Check in at the Hotel & Relax.

Day 3 Sigiriya

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Sigiriya area
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Sigiriya. En route, visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. It is a haven for orphaned and injured elephants. The orphanage provides care and shelter to these majestic creatures and is open to the public for viewing. Evening, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. It's renowned for its impressive cave complex, which houses ancient statues and paintings that date back to the 1st century BC. Check in to the hotel.

Day 4 Sigiriya

Meals: B, D Accommodation: Sigiriya area
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa Cycling tour. Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It comprises, besides the Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas, the monumental ruins of the fabulous garden city created by Parakramabahu I in the 12th century. Late Afternoon, transfer to enjoy a Jeep safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. (Note: Depending on the date of travel the safari will take place either in Kaudulla or Eco National parks, according to Elephant migration patterns) . The park is famous for its large elephant herds along with other wild animal sightings. This national park is one of the best places in the country to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers. Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Wewa, the park has plenty of scrub, forest and wetlands in its 88.9 sq km to also provide shelter for toque macaques, sambar deer, buffalo, crocodiles and leopards. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 Kandy

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Kandy area
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kandy. (Second largest city) En route, climb the World Heritage site in Sigiriya. (Sigiriya Lion Rock) A UNESCO-listed World Heritage site and 8th wonder of the world ranked by them; the Sigiriya Rock Fortress is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning. Also known as the "Lion's Rock", the city was built on top of a giant granite outcrop that rises out of a plain in a remote area in Sri Lanka. An engineering marvel. A "must-see tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. After that, Hindu temple & the most famous Spice Garden in Matale. Check in to the hotel & Relax. You will be staying in hotel with wonderful view. Evening. City tour including the Temple of the tooth & the cultural dance show in Kandy. The Temple of the Tooth, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world, located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha, which is believed to be enshrined within the temple complex. This relic holds immense religious significance for Buddhists around the globe, and the temple itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to the hotel.

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Nuwara Eliya area
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Nuwara Eliya. En route, enjoy White Water Rafting in Kitulgala including a Sri Lankan Lunch. Experience White Water Rafting in Kithulgala with the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by our white water rafting instructors beforehand. You could enjoy the jungle scenery and get thrills on the rushing rapids in your private tour with personalized attention from your dedicated guide. Continue journey to Nuwara Eliya. Evening. City tour inculding the Tea Plantation and Factory (try some fresh variety of tea), Lover's Leap Waterfall, Victoria Park & Gregory Lake. Nuwara Eliya is often referred as "Little England' because many of the buildings are from the British colonial period, such as the Queen's Cottage, Grand Hotel, Hill Club and Town Post Office. Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Head for the cold and misty hills. Enjoy the heavenly scent and make sure to end your day in style over cool climate.

Day 7 Haputale

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Haputale area
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Haputale. En route, enjoy a Train Ride from Nanu Oya to Haputale. (Note: Train ticket seats will depend on availability 1st. Zannd and 3rd class seats are bookable 30 days before the train joumey date.). A ride that takes you through some of the best views of the hill country in Sri Lanka. A "must see and experience" for any tourist. Check in to the hotel.

Day 8 Haputale

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Haputale area
After breakfast, transfer to do Lipton Seat Tuk Tuk Tour. The adventure promises exciting sightseeing opportunities and ample chances for photography throughout the journey. Participants can capture breathtaking vistas and lush tea plantations at Lipton's Seat, explore the tea-making process at Dambethenna Tea Factory . and enjoy a scenic drive through picturesque Ella. Sir Thomas Lipton's statue also awaits visitors for memorable photo opportunities. Return to the hotel & Relax.

Day 9 Tissamaharama

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Tissamaharama. Check in to the hotel. Full Day at Leisure.

Day 10 Tissamaharama

Breakfast at the hotel. Late Afternoon, transfer to enjoy a Jeep safari at Yala National Park. Yala National Park is in the southeast corner of Sri Lanka and is considered one of the country's premier wildlife destinations. The park covers an area of approximately 979 square kilometers and is divided into five blocks, of which only two are open to the public. The park is known for its diverse range of ecosystems, including dry forests, grasslands, wetlands, and lagoons. The terrain is characterized by rolling hills and rocky outcrops, with a coastline that borders the Indian Ocean. Yala is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, sloth bears, water buffalo, spotted deer, crocodiles, and many species of birds. The park is particularly famous for its population of leopards, which are often spotted lounging on rocky outcrops or hunting prey.

Day 11-12 Galle

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Galle. Check in to the hotel. Optional - Whale Watching Tour. Whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water activities you can do during your holiday in Sri Lanka. Often spotted blue whales are the biggest animals in the world and Mirissa is the best place for whale and dolphin watching tours in Sri Lanka. Whale watching season in Mirissa is from November to April. Evening, visit Galle fort. Galle Fort is a fortified old town located in the city of Galle on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The fort was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the Dutch in the 17th century, making it a prime example of colonial architecture and urban planning. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its stunning blend of European and Asian architecture, featuring colorful buildings with ornate balconies, colonnades, and verandas. The narrow streets are lined with restaurants, boutique shops, and galleries, creating a charming and lively atmosphere. The fort is surrounded by a thick rampart wall and is home to several iconic landmarks, including the Dutch Reformed Church, the Galle Lighthouse, and the National Maritime Museum. Visitors can also explore the fort's numerous bastions, which offer panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the surrounding area. Return to the hotel.

Day 13 Colombo

Meals: D, B, D Accommodation: Colombo area
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Colombo. En route, enjoy a Boat safari in Madu ganga. The Madu Ganga is a minor watercourse which originates near Uragasmanhandiya in the Galle District of Sri Lanka, before widening into the Madu Ganga Lake at Balapitiya. The river then flows for a further a 4.4 km before draining into the Indian Ocean. It is located 88 km south of Colombo and 35 km north of Galle. Afterwards, visit the Trutle Hatchery in Kosgoda. There are 18 turtle hatcheries along the southern coast of the country. Among them, Kosgoda turtle hatchery, started in 1981, is one of the oldest turtle conservation projects in Sri Lanka. Kodgoda turtle hatchery is quite popular for having all five turtle species seen on the country's beaches. Functioning as a hatchery, Kosgoda projects envisage much more to preserve the turtle life on the shore. They run various activities and volunteer programs for locals and international tourists to go through and have a knowledge of processes of turtle hatching. Evening, City Tour in Colombo.

Day 14 Departure
